Asra ­Usman, MS, DPT, OCS, CCCE, Physical Therapist, Clinical Director

ausman@ hdphysicaltherapy.com Asra is a NY, CT and MA board certified PT as well as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist by the APTA. Her entire education was obtained from Boston U­niversity, where she became a senior PT, academic adviser, guest lecturer and consultant with the Athletic Enhancement Center. Asra's focus has been on manual therapy techniques and functional training through post-graduate work with Boston Medical Center, the Graston Technique ® and Gary Gray Chain Reaction courses.

Isolene Alleyne, Physical Therapy Aide

Yet, I feel it has to come within their mind, body and spirit which are key to a long and healthy life.” This is the philosophy Isolene practices with each and every patient at H & D. Isolene has an Associate's degree in Human Services and Aging with certifications in Medical Assisting/Clinical Physical Therapy Aide, EKG/Phlebotomy, medical billing and coding. She is currently working on her Bachelor's degree in Gerontology. Isolene's areas of specialty are exercise, strengthening and dance.

Tina Castiello, PT, DPT, Physical Therapist

Tina's focus is on treating sports and orthopedic injuries. Well-educated and a life long learner; she graduated from Touro College in Manhattan, where she completed her post-graduate Doctorate with an Orthopedic concentration, became certified in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment and is currently pursuing her Certification in Functional Manual Therapy. She has taken many continuing education courses, which has given her the opportunity to develop an individualized treatment approach developed from many different philosophies. Tina loves to ski, hike and bike. Being so active, Tina's own injuries have improved her ability to relate to her patients.

Sarah Cline, Physical Therapy Aide

scline@ hdphysicaltherapy.com Sarah earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the U­niversity of Illinois in 1999, and has been an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer since then. She has been a yoga teacher (RYT-200; Om Yoga Center) for over 10 years and uses a mindful approach to exercise as a central part of her healing philosophy. Sarah has been working closely with Physical Therapists for as long as she's been training and is currently finishing her prerequisites for a DPT Program.

Rico Fabillar, PT, DPT, Physical Therapist

He has a keen interest in health and healing, and believes in the body's capacity to mend itself. Karen is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Certified Athletic Trainer with a degree in Exercise Science from Long Island ­University and the ­University of Toledo, respectively. She has experience in orthopedics, sports, and dance medicine. Her experience ranges from the general public to professional athletes and performers.

Gregory Hullstrung, PT, FAFS, Physical Therapist

Greg is co-owner of H&D Physical Therapy with over 18 years clinical experience. He has served as a lecturer in the New York Physical Therapy Assistant Program and an adjunct Clinical Instructor at the New York ­niversity Physical Therapy Program. From 2002-2004, Greg also served as Chair of the Greater New York District of the New York Chapter of APTA. Greg became a Fellow of Applied Functional Science (FAFS) with the Gray Institute in 2008 and was credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy by the McKenzie Institute in 2000.

Matthew Rector, DPT

Matt received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2012 from Northeastern ­University in Boston. Kimberly Rich, PT, MPT, Physical Therapist

Kim has an extensive background in sports medicine ranging from the professional level to weekend warriors. Kim has spent time working with the NY Islanders and Dr. James Andrews. Being a former college athlete, she believes in core stability, strength, movement and balance for return to sports and all other activities.

Randi Schatz, OT, CHT Occupational Therapist

Randi is a graduate of Boston ­University, Sargent College of Allied Health Professions. She has over 25 years of experience working with complex elbow, wrist, and hand injuries with an emphasis on sports and traumatic wrist injuries. Randi is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapies (ASHT) and is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).

Karen Sharma, OT, Occupational Therapist

Karen's philosophy of treatment takes into consideration the mind, body and spirit while maximizing movement and functional potential. Karen received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at the ­University of Toronto. She has worked in both hospital and private practice settings and has specialized in Hand Therapy including post-op treatment and wound care for the last 10 years. Karen is also trained to fabricate custom thermoplastic splints to facilitate with pain management, joint protection, post-surgical protection and increase joint motion.
